Wagg In Wheels Mobile Dog Grooming
Where we always make it a "Tail Waggin' Day"!
It is with great sorrow
that we inform you of the sudden death of Kristin Bresnan, Chief Grooming
Officer of Wagg In Wheels Mobile Dog Grooming.
Kristin Lucille Bresnan, died suddenly in her Boulder home on Tuesday, February 23. 2016. She was the owner of Waggin Wheels Mobile Dog Grooming Service, for over 13 years. She was born in Stoughton Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston on January 18, 1969. Her parents were Robert and Maria Greco Bresnan. She graduated from Lincoln Sudbury High School in 1987 and received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts in 1992. Kristin dipped her toe in the corporate world, holding management positions at Miller Stockman and Sprint PCS. It did not take long for her to realize that she would not find satisfaction there. Ever the dog lover, she was fortunate enough to acquire Waggin Wheels Mobile Dog Grooming which she has run as a thriving business for over 14 years. She loved all of her clients, especially those of the furry persuasion. It is with great sadness that she has left them behind. Kristin was a consummate Colorado woman. She was one of those people who wasn't born in the mountains but got here as fast as she could. In the year following her graduation from college she moved to Vail, Colorado where she skied with joyous abandon. She was in the vanguard of snowboarding and took great pleasure in days on the slopes, very often by herself. She was that lovely woman, with apparent unlimited lung capacity, whom you often saw biking up the canyon as you drove by in your car. She welcomed the new millennium by summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro. Subsequently she summited Mt. Rainier and several fourteeners. Most importantly she was a kind and gentle person with limitless capacity for caring for animals. She was a frequent volunteer at Best Friends Animal Shelter in Kanab Utah. She was also a volunteer at the Longmont Humane Society. Left to mourn her passing are her parents, Neil and Maria Greco Cox of Longmont Colorado, Robert and Mary Bresnan of Ocala Florida, her former husband, Mark Stefanowski of Boulder, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends throughout the county and Vaila, Louise and Doowee, rescue dogs from Boulder, Lebanon and Utah. Kristin will be missed by all of those both two and four legged to whom she imparted gentle care on her daily rounds. Her whimsical truck with her trade mark greeting "Have a Tail Waggin" day was sure to evoke a smile. Contributions may be made in her name to Best Friends Animal Society, Kanab Utah or the Longmont Humane Society. Care has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary. Longmont, Colorado. Cremation has occurred. Please visit www.howemortuary.com to share thoughts, memories and condolences. A celebration of Kristin's life will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in Boulder (Heatherwood) at 11AM on March 12, 2016. A reception will follow at the church. All are welcome. She was a once in a life time woman. Lucky are we who had the chance to know and love her. She will live forever in our hearts.
